Connect
Add Walmart from Destinations with the client credentials for the marketplace environment you were approved for. Credentials are encrypted. Walmart onboarding (tax, shipping templates) happens in Seller Center, not in eListSync.
Items
The Walmart transformer maps canonical title, identifiers (GTIN when present), images, and price into the item payload Walmart expects. Missing GTIN is a common rejection — add it on the variant before republish.
Inventory
Stock updates use the same SKU. Concurrent sales on Shopify and Walmart still go through Redis Lua locks so Walmart cannot sell a unit already committed elsewhere.
Common errors
- Auth 401 — rotate credentials in Seller Center and Destinations
- GTIN required — fill identifier on the variant
- Feed lag — Walmart item status is not always instant; check Seller Center and the sync log
- Quota — Walmart bulkhead backs off independently
